Northern Health is seeking an Anesthesiologist for Fort St John, British Columbia, Canada, a vibrant city with a young and growing population! We welcome candidates who interested in establishing and running pain clinic.

Fort St John Hospital is a new state of the art 55-bed hospital and 123-bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 23,000, with a catchment area of approximately 70,000. The ER has over 25,000 visits per year.

  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Anaesthesia experience
  • Doctorate in Medicine

RSA Incentives

Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
Relocation Funding Available: $9,000 - $15,000 (TBD)
Retention Premium: 21.70%
Retention Flat Fee: $33,629 per annum

Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available.
Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) available.
Moving allowance available (no receipts required): $15,000 if moving from outside of Canada; $12,000 if moving within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if moving within BC.

• Medical and Surgical inpatient rooms (40 beds)
