Northern Health is seeking locum physicians to work in the Bulkley Valley District Hospital Emergency Department in Smithers, British Columbia. Day shift averages 25 patients and night averages 12 patients.

Bulkley Valley District Hospital is a 24-bed acute care facility providing emergency/outpatient, medical, surgical, maternity, and palliative care services, and has one psychiatric observation unit. The facility has approximately 13,600 emergency visits and supports home and community care services, a strong community cancer clinic, and a diverse visiting specialist/surgeon program. It also offers laboratory and radiology (x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, CT scanning), and pediatrics services.
